From Bad To Worst – Pictures Of Tattoos Gone Wrong
The trend of ballooning overabundance of tattoo pictures online shows no sign of stopping or slowing down. While this is good news for tattoo hunters because it means more quality designs available on the web, it also shows a steady increase of bad tattoos done all over the world by the minute of every hour. Every day, pictures of tattoos that have gone completely wrong are showcased on various tattoo websites. These are the subjects of tattoo horror stories, examples of what you shouldn’t follow when looking for your own tattoo design.
Here are some of the reasons why they ended up as disasters.
1. Teeny versus Gargantuan – No matter how ornate and elegant your tattoo picture of choice is, if you have it inked too big or too small than it’s supposed to be, it ends up looking bad from the point of view of casual onlookers and professional tattoo connoisseurs alike. That’s because you have either committed a grave injustice to a beautiful picture tattoo or wasted a wide expanse of skin on a simple sketch.
2. Missing the G Spot – Every tattoo has a good spot in the body to place on. For instance, wings are often placed at the back across the shoulder blades because that’s where wings should be if man every sprouted any in the future. For some though, perhaps in an effort to further differentiate themselves from the rest, deliberately ink their tattoos on the most unlikely and unsuitable locations. Their tattoos sure get the attention – albeit negative – that they beg for.
3. Scary and Pointless – Some tattoo pictures were envisaged with the intention to be funny. Some are meant to look bright and lively, while others are somber and foreboding. Regardless of the intention, these tattoo pictures, should above all appeal aesthetically to the viewer. But there are some tattoos that are not only visually unappealing but also downright sinister. If a picture tattoo gives you goose bumps that aren’t brought about by awe, walk away.
There are also some tattoo seekers who, for reasons beyond most people’s threshold for understanding, choose tattoo designs just for the heck of it. This careless attitude, above all others, is the culprit for bad tattoos.
4. Wide off the mark execution – The most common disasters in execution are misspellings, poor illustrations and horrible color sc

hemes. How else can you describe a tattoo that reads “I’m Awsome” as anything but catastrophic? There are also cases, more often than not in real life portraits, that the tattoo does not even remotely resemble the person in the original portrait.
Tattoos are permanent items on your skin. They should be chosen carefully. While tattoo removal technology offers a way out for people who wake up one morning and realize their tattoo is hideous, it would cost them a lot of money and even permanent scarring. These gruesome tattoo pictures would serve as a warning to all individuals who have plans to get a tattoo design – research and choose a qualified tattooist. Most of all, ask yourself why you’re getting a tattoo in the first place. This helps set you in the right path in your search for the right design.
